Courage to Confront Evil (Moses)
Text: Exodus 5:1, Afterward Moses and Aaron went and said to Pharaoh, Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast to me in the wilderness.
Reflection: Moses, once a fugitive, stood before Pharaoh, the most powerful man in Egypt, and demanded freedom for God’s people. Backed by God’s authority, he confronted injustice despite the risk.
Application: Courage means standing for what is right when you see oppression or disregard for God’s Word. Whether it’s addressing injustice in your workplace or community, rely on God’s strength to speak boldly.
Reflection Question: Where do you see injustice or God’s truth being ignored, and how can you respond courageously?
Prayer: God, grant me Moses’ boldness to confront evil with Your truth. Give me wisdom and strength to stand for justice. Amen.
