Courage to Face Giants (David)
Text: 1 Samuel 17:45–47
Reflection: Young David faced Goliath, a towering warrior, with only a sling and stones. His courage came from trusting God’s power, not his own skill, declaring that the battle belonged to the Lord.
Application: Courage means believing God is bigger than the “giants” in your life—fear, sin, or opposition. Identify your giants and face them with faith in God’s strength.
Reflection Question: What “giant” are you facing, and how can you trust God to fight for you?
Prayer: Father, like David, help me face my giants with confidence in Your power. Remind me that the battle is Yours. Amen.
Key Verse: “And David said, The Lord who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said to David, Go, and the Lord be with you!” (1 Samuel 17:37).
