Courage to Obey in the Unknown (Abraham)
Text: Genesis 12:1–4
Reflection: God called Abraham to leave his homeland, family, and security for an unknown destination. Despite the uncertainty, Abraham obeyed, trusting God’s promise. His faith set the foundation for a nation and a legacy of trust in God.
Application: Courage means taking the next step of obedience, even when the future is unclear. Whether it’s a new job, a move, or a calling, trust God’s guidance one step at a time.
Reflection Question: What step of obedience is God asking you to take, even if the outcome is uncertain?
Prayer: Lord, give me Abraham’s faith to obey You, even when the path ahead is unclear. Help me trust Your promises and take the next step. Amen.
Key Verse: “By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place he would later receive as an inheritance, and he went out without understanding where he was going.” (Hebrews 11:8).
