Elohim, the Mighty God
Scripture: Psalm 90:2 – “Before the mountains were born or You gave birth to the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.”
Reflection: The name Elohim, derived from “El” (mighty one), reflects God’s supreme power and honor. As the singular, supreme God, He is worthy of our reverence and trust.
Application: When feeling overwhelmed, remember Elohim’s might surpasses all. Lean on His strength and submit to His will, trusting His eternal perspective (Isaiah 45:9).
Prayer: Mighty God, I honor Your supreme power. Help me rely on Your strength in my weakness. Amen.
