John 8:12 Then Jesus spoke out again, “I am the light of the world! The one who follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.”
Praise the Lord Jesus is the light of the world. He is the light that illuminates every heart and frees us from the darkness that engulfs the world. We can walk in the light that is Jesus and our fears are banished and our path is full of light so we can avoid all the traps and temptations of life. Praise the Lord!
God blessed us yesterday in church in many ways. We continue to have children and teens present in Sunday School and church. Pray that our children’s and youth ministries grow. We have a spirit of unity and godliness in our church that blesses all. We united in prayer for the sick. And we heard God’s Word proclaimed. We kicked off our RightNow Media ministry. It is a great way to invite friends and family to study the Bible. It is a wonderful tool to reach the lost for Jesus. Wednesday, we continue our Bible study on prayer based on R.A. Torrey’s book, “How to Pray”. It is a classic book available online for free.
Saturday, we kick off Faith in Action Saturdays. This is a monthly meeting of the church where we study the Bible, serve together for missions and other projects, and have a fun time of fellowship. I hope everyone will be there.
Sunday, the 29th is Palm Sunday. Please be present as we prepare for Easter the following Sunday.
Let’s lift up one another in prayer and walk in the light that is Jesus Christ this week.
