Reflecting on Fellowship
Focus Verse: 1 John 1:3 – “That which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.”
Reflection: In his later years, John reflected on his time with Jesus, testifying to what he had seen and touched (1 John 1:1–2). He urged believers to abide in fellowship with Christ and one another, finding joy in this connection (1 John 1:3–4). John’s life shows that abiding in Christ creates a ripple effect, drawing others into His light and love.
Application: How can you share Christ’s love and truth with others today? Reflect on your walk with Jesus and consider one way to invite someone into fellowship with Him, perhaps through a kind word or testimony.
Prayer: Father, thank You for the fellowship I have with You through Jesus. Help me walk in Your light and share Your love with others, just as John did. Amen.
